London Olympic Peace Messenger athletic plan

Right now London Olympic Peace Messenger is planned to take a coach and horse ride from Athens, the city where first Olympic ever took place, to London, 2012 Olympics.

He is going to use his experiences that he gained, completing similar journeys in Olympics 2008 in Beijing and 2004 in Athens. His aim is to transfer peace and friendship message of Olympic on his journey. He is inspired to emphasise on concepts such as humanism values by keeping away from any political concerns.

In the mean time, he is going to meet some cultural objectives. In order to achieve this goal, he has designed a comprehensive plan to pass through eight countries: Greece, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France and finally England. Going through this path the coach is to be decorated with symbols and signs from all five continents of the earth as well as the Olympic flag. London Olympic Peace Messenger is planning to swim across the Mancha channel (English Channel) between France and England. Doing so, he is accompanied by a group of adolescent and teenage swimmers that will carry the big Olympic flag. This can be a very specific reminder of glamour and greatness of the 2012 London Olympics and also symbolising the Olympic peace message.

On his way to London Olympics, the Peace Messenger is scheduled to present the people with gifts, all symbolising the Olympic and its peace message for people from different countries, authorities and decision makers.

He is also volunteered to take part in cultural events before and after the Olympic to commemorate it. Inspired by his previous experiences and in addition to his athletic plans for coach riding and swimming across the Mancha channel (English channel), London Olympic Peace Messenger is planned to put a number of cultural plans into operation in order to provide the people from different nationalities to promote their knowledge and to communicate their cultures. Realising these objectives naturally will pave the way for future cultural projects.
